How to Draw - Drawing With a Purpose - 2

Do you want to learn how to draw, but need a purpose for drawing? When I draw, I am one of those people who need to have a purpose. Drawing takes time. Although I find it very enjoyable, I still like to have some reason for spending the time. I need some sort of motivation.

Probably most people who draw, if the could make a little money right away, would have not problem getting motivated to draw more often. However, the purpose of this article is not to tell you how you can make money from your drawings. I am assuming that you are not even close to that point yet. You are the person who is still learning or looking for a way in which you can get motivated to start drawing again. You are the person who wants to get better at drawing before attempting to sell your first successful drawing.

Before you even start looking to monetize you must first develop your own style, technique and name. It takes quite awhile before people want you to draw something for them. So, here are some ways in which you can stay motivated.

The first way I get motivated is by selecting a photo that I like a lot, and really want to draw. Finding a good drawing photo may take some time, but it will be much more fun to draw. I have tried drawing some photos for people that were not great quality and have never been happy with the result.

What is a good drawing photo? Well, I happen to love photography and would eventually like to draw all of my own photos. Although I own an excellent camera, I am not always able to, or have the time to shoot the photos I want. A good drawing photo is one that you like immediately because the subject is in focus and the lighting is great.

Professional cameras are fun to play with because you can use a variety of lenses that allow you get that certain area in focus and everything else will be blurred. In a future article I will explain why you tend to like these types of photos better than others where everything is in focus. You draw what you see and not have to worry about making the drawing look better than the photo. That is why I enjoy drawing for photographers. I know that I am setting myself up for success rather than failure.

Maybe you do not think you are good enough yet, but at least work towards drawing something for someone else. This is the way I started drawing. Most of my drawing were for someone else. They were not anywhere near perfect then and still are not always the way I want them to look today. There is always something that just does not look right.

Share your work. See what people think. Tell people about what you do and share your passion. Accept criticism and learn from it. I use the criticism I receive on my drawings to improve my technique and style. Often others are better at pointing out errors or ways in which I can improve because they were not working with the drawing.

Alright, let's get started...

Activity 1 - Join a Group of Artists

If you have not already joined a group of drawing artists, I suggest you do so. You can learn from others and help and be helped.

Here are five places you may want to display your artwork

Drawspace.com

Artpapa.com

GFXartist.com

ratemydrawings.com

Activity 2 - Find a Photo for Drawing

Find a good photo. Hopefully you can find a good photo to draw that you yourself have taken. The internet may have many good drawing photos on it, but most of them will be copyright material. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THEM TO YOUR COMPUTER. Especially if you are going to display your drawings elsewhere on the web, make sure you have the written permission of the photographer. Make sure you make it clear to him or her what you are going to do with the image. Don't assume anything. If you are given permission, do not sell the drawing to anyone else.

Found a good photo? Joined at least one drawing group? Great! Now you are ready for the next article which is called How to Draw- Drawing Techniques (3). In this article we will explore different techniques that artists use. Try one of them out on the photo you have or will select.

Drawing Tips and Techniques to Help You Learn How to Draw

Drawing is a fun hobby and in fact something that you can also make money with. If you want to learn drawing, there are also a few drawing tips and techniques that can help you learn fast and make better drawings. One good thing about this hobby is that, you don't need to have other expensive equipment, you can just have a pencil and a clean sheet of paper and you can learn how to draw right there.

If you are starting with a pencil, learn how to make vary the weight of your lines. You can make darker lines by pressing your pencil more or create lighter lines by lifting it up a bit. With varying weight of your lines you can emphasize major forms as well as finer lines in your drawing and make it more impressive.

One of the drawing tips and techniques that you may want to start with is to start drawing light lines. These very light lines will help guide you before starting to make a final drawing to avoid mistakes. Although it is normal to make mistakes in drawing and with light lines, you can easily correct them.

Having a light guide will also help you check the proportion of your drawing to make it fit the space that you have. One common mistakes of many is trying to draw right int the space and finding out afterwards that they don't have enough space for the hands o the feet, which can lead to having your subject too big for your space.

Avoid drawing in hard edges unless they are hard edges. Outlining them in hard lines can make your drawing flat, so start with finer lines and only use hard lines to what is suppose to be dark lines. Keep your pencils sharp so that you can easily make finer lines. You may need some blunt pencil for some lines and shadows too so you may also have some blunt ones ready as well.

Never rest your hands on your drawing or in the space that you still have to draw. Your hands can smudge your drawing and can damage it. No matter how clean are your hands, the moisture in it can make some parts of the paper you are working on hard for erasures later.

Learn the hatching technique in drawing. This is one technique that allows you to draw parallel lines to add the appearance of value o your drawings.

Of course, shading and highlighting are also important techniques in drawing and even with your pencil, you can actually learn these techniques to give depth and dimension to your drawings.

These are just a few drawing tips and techniques that you can start learning to make better drawings. If you are interested in drawing, you can also get a good resource where you can learn each step in detail and learn techniques step by step as well.

How to Draw Easy Cartoons - Simple Techniques to Learn Drawing

Although there are people who are born with a talent in drawing without even learning some steps and methods, you can however learn how to draw easy cartoons with the aid of a few resources that will teach you easy drawing.

If you are interested in learning how to draw easy cartoons, you can actually find a number of techniques to draw one. You can even draw cartoons with sticks or with just straight lines. You can also make cartoons with just the basic shape. Whether you want to use your cartoons as a visual aid in school or you want to draw cartoons for profit, even stick cartoons can be appealing for as long as you have a good character out of your cartoons.

Drawing with Sticks and Straight Line

One of the very easy way on how to draw easy cartoons is to use straight lines and a few circles. We all probably know how to draw stick figures but we can still enhance it by adding movements as well as creating an appealing character.

If you want to start with stick figures as your first steps towards drawing, you can use an oval shape for the head. Of course, an oval is just an imperfect circle, so you don't have to bother making it as perfectly done as possible. You can then make use of sticks or straight lines for the body, the arms and the legs.

Aside from the oval and stick, you can also add more accessories to your cartoons. You add a signature hair, dress or some other features that will make your cartoon stand out.

Although stick figures is an easy method on how to draw easy cartoons, you have to also keep in mind that there are also other considerations that you have to make. Proportion and balance are among them. Especially when you start making your stick figures to appear moving - running, walking, jumping or just any other activity you want it to be, make sure that you have a well-balanced and proportionate stick figure as well

Drawing with Ovals

Aside from sticks and straight lines, you can also draw using ovals. You can use it for the face, the arms, the legs as well as the body and you get a good cartoon that you can show your kids or your students, or as a good start to create you cartoon character and start making profit in drawing cartoons.

Drawing With Basic Shapes

Another important thing that you have to learn as well on how to draw easy cartoons is to start learning how to draw basic shapes. This will help you learn how to see an object. Practicing with these basic shapes will also be of very big help in learning how to make your cartoon drawing easy as well. Constant practice is also important if you want to master this skill.

You can also learn a few techniques from professional artists and learn from their drawings as well.

If you want to learn how to draw, check out this guide from a professional illustrator on How to Draw Cartoons. Also check out Fun With Caricatures, if you are interested to learn how to make caricatures as well.

Zombie Drawing - How to Draw a Zombie's Face

Drawing a zombie face is something that gets easier with practice, each new sketch you do is a learning process that improves with time and zombies are quite popular to draw, so here we will go through the steps that you could follow to draw your very own zombie faces and apply what you learn to create lots of different zombies.

To draw our rotting zombies head, we need to remind ourselves of the genre, go and watch some of them zombie horror films and then come back, you'll find that there are lots of different undead facial possibilities to get you drawing them, the preferred method is to draw an uneven oval shape for the head on an A4 size piece of paper, fill the whole sheet if you have to and don't worry about the basic shape too much as this will most certainly change later in the drawing.

Mark a line down the middle of the oval head shape and a line across the nose area, this way you can draw in the eyes, ears, (if any) the nose and a rough draught sketch of the mouth, so later you can cut back on the flesh, to make it appear rotten and possibly show the teeth and the gum line which often looks quite cool on a zombie, a bit of hair can be sketched in too if you don't want a bald undead guy as your zombie character.

Now we have the basics, we need to work on these somewhat, the eyes become angry and almost evil looking, with one eye ball bulging out of its socket and more detail surrounds the zombie's features as it looks totally putrefied, the teeth are drawn in, as the lips look like they are hanging off, and the hair has been sketched in darker, it's up to you how far you go with blood drips and so on.

The next step is to ink the drawing if you prefer, just go over the pencil lines and fill in any dark areas with solid black ink or cross hatching, usually under the eyes and define the cheek bones if you want a portion of the skull to poke out.

Zombie face drawing is a great way to learn how to draw characters, so just have fun.

How To Draw A Car - Two Practical Tips For Better Car Drawing

A lot of people each day are trying to figure out the best way to learn how to draw a car. So what is it that's so hard about this, and how might you go about learning how to draw a car properly and make it look real? I'll be providing you with some tips I've learned that you can apply to your drawings and hopefully create a car that looks like it'll drive right off your paper! Most drawings of cars that I have seen show me that many people fail because they are lacking some fundamental things when getting ready to draw a car.

One primary example is people commonly lack patience. When someone asks me to review their drawing and give them feedback, more often than not, it is patently obvious to when they have only spent around 30 minutes or so on a drawing that they have attempted to make up on their own.

Drawing a car and making it look realistic is difficult enough without having to make up every detail of the drawing from within your own mind. Rather than doing this, I have a suggestion. I have found it incredibly helpful to start out drawing from a reference picture. While it is possible to trace right over the reference picture if you want to, but this tactic will not help improve your car drawing skills (or any other type of drawing skills) at all. What you need to do is train your mind to see the lines and see the tones. And, you need to train it to apply those lines and tones to your drawings as you make them.

For some people, this is easier said than done. It will take varying amounts of repetition to ingrain this skill into your brain. But it can be done. The sooner you get started practicing, and the more regularly you practice, the sooner you will fully develop this skill and be able to utilize it.

It's a colorful world...or is it?

One hand tip that I use when I am having a difficult time figuring out what my may need to look like is ditching the color and looking at the model or reference picture in black and white. When you eliminate all of the color from a photograph of a car, it makes an amazing difference. All you're left with is just the black and white tones that you need to recreate in your drawing. Using this tactic makes it significantly easier to visualize what you need to draw on the paper to make your car look real and accurate. When you are implementing this method, pay careful attention to how the light is absorbed into or reflected from different surfaces of the car. Is it metallic and shiny? Rubbery and dull? What makes the car look different in a photo? How can you best represent that with pencil and paper?

Practicing this technique and getting proficient at it will allow you not only to learn how to draw a car really well, but also will expand your ability to be able to draw nearly anything you want to. Many great artists have become great because they practiced and observed regularly. Nothing says you can't do the same thing.

The tilt of doom!

Something that has stood out among several aspiring artists I've worked with is the head tilt. I've done this myself, as well. This might not appear to be much of a factor in anything, but it really is. When you tilt your head, even though you don't notice it, you are effectively offsetting the position of your drawing by changing the angles your eyes view the drawing from. You will end up, not with a car that is level and well-proportioned, but rather with a car that slants to the left or slants to the right. To prevent this from happening, it is helpful to pause every few minutes, take a step or two back, away from the table, and look at your drawing with a fresh angle and perspective. It's amazing how much you can see when you review your drawing from a different viewpoint.

When you are making this "different viewpoint" assessment, ensure that everything that should be horizontal is actually horizontal. You want to make sure nothing is leaning one way or the other, if it is not supposed to. If you are tried of your drawings being unrealistic and unpolished, and you want to learn more about how to draw a car the way professionals do, work the above tips into your drawing and you're sure to improve. You may also benefit from How To Draw Cars Fast and Easy.

How to Draw - An Introduction to Drawing Anything and Everything

Every day, thousands of people search for information on how to draw roses, people, horses, dragons, airplanes, and other objects. Over the next weeks I will be writing a series of articles that will help you learn how to draw anything and everything. My goal is to get you to a point where you no longer need drawing books or websites telling you how to draw, but are comfortable with a technique, or number of techniques that help you draw what you see. It may take you months or even years to get to this point, but if you are determined you will get there. All the information provided in the articles are meant to steer you in the right direction and get you there faster. You will have to set the pace. Remember to not set the bar too high, or to set it too low. Make sure you are challenging yourself, but at the same time do not choose to do something that is too challenging. You will be setting yourself up for failure.

Over the past number of years, but especially this year, with the creation of my first how to draw website, I have searched the internet to see how others tackle the subject of drawing. I found that most of them use the step by step technique that breaks down a drawing into manageable chunks. It seems that most well known artists use some sort of step by step technique that works for them.

The reason why most websites use this technique is because our brains seem to be able to only absorb so much at a time. At least my brain works that way. If I was to look at a photo of a person for a minute, and then told to draw it without ever looking at the photo again, I could not do it. However, if I was given a photo of a ball and told to do the same thing, I could draw it. My point is that our brains can only take in so much at a time and the step by step technique helps you focus on a certain part of the object one step at a time.

There are other techniques as well. What they all have in common is that they each train your brain to draw what you see. One of the techniques, which I will describe in greater detail in a future article, is the upside down technique. Just like the name suggests, you draw the object upside down. This helps your eyes focus on the actual shapes, rather than the image as a whole.

Graphs also break down an object into manageable sections. Especially for artists who can not get the proportions right, graphs are the way to go. By making a graph on you photo and drawing paper, you force your brain to focus on one area at a time. You draw what you see in the boxes, rather than trying to draw the whole object at once. Again, by doing this you are breaking down the image into manageable chunks.

I think I may be starting loosing some of you already. So, let me put you to work. Here my first assignment.

Assignment 1 - Finding a Drawing Book

Below is a list of drawing books. They are all drawing books by well known authors. I want you to choose a title and search it on the internet (amazon.com). Find a drawing book that looks appealing. Purchase it if you want to. But, before you do, make sure it is the best one. Don't pick one and then decide later that you actually wanted another one. There are many how to draw books, and not all of them are very helpful.

LEE HAMMOND (her books got me interested in drawing people)
Lee Hammond's Big Book of Drawing
Lifelike Drawing with Lee Hammond

BETTY EDWARDS (very well know author)
Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain

J. D. HILLBERRY (he has a great website)
Drawing Realistic Textures in Pencil

BERT DODSON
Keys to drawing

ROBERT HALE
Drawing Lessons from the Great Masters

BURNE HOGARTH (his books do NOT contain many drawings that you can use, but he has a lot of information that may be helpful to you)
Drawing Dynamic Hands
Dynamic Figure Drawing
Drawing the Human Head

PRESTON BLAIR
Cartoon Animation

There are more, but as you do your search, you will come across them.

How to draw books are great for two reasons. They provide you with pictures of drawings, and with information and techniques you can use. Sometimes, it is hard to find something that is good to draw. Actually for me, often it is hard to find an image that is perfect for drawing. Most of the photos I have are not all that great for drawing.

Assignment 2 - Drawing Supplies

DRAWING PENCILS
As you wait for that drawing book to come, or when you go out to purchase one from an art store, make sure you also have the right drawing supplies

Here is what you should look for:

A set of drawing pencils. Drawing pencils range from around 2H - 9B. You should not really need any pencils harder than the 2H.

For those who do not know what the H and B stand for, let me explain. The graphite in each pencil has a certain hardness. The common HB pencil is right in the middle of the spectrum. B stands for blackness and H stands for hardness. The graphite ranging from B to 9B leave the darkest marks. The higher the number of B or blackness, the softer the graphite will be. That is why this range in used a lot in drawings. Dark marks are often more effective than light ones.

The other range, which is often good for shading and light areas is the F - 2H range. Yes this range goes all the way to 9H. But the 9H is so light, I don't think you will want to use it and most drawing pencil packages do not go that high in hardness.

As you have most likely guessed by now, the higher the number of hardness, the harder the graphite and the lighter the mark will be.

Just for your information, there is another pencil that I mentioned that fits in the middle of the spectrum beside the HB pencil. It is the F which stands for fine point. There, I think I got them all.

DRAWING ERASERS
I highly recommend that you get a kneaded eraser. This eraser you can mold by warming it in your hands. What is really nice about this eraser is that it it pulls the graphite off the page. Many other erasers tend to roll some of it deeper into the page. If you do not already have one. Pick one up. They are inexpensive.

DRAWING PAPER.

There are so many different kinds of drawing paper that it is hard to recommend one or two, but here are some labels to look for:

Acid Free - Most are acid free after they are manufactured, however will become acidic again over time.

Buffered - It is a bonus if it has been buffered, which means that it has undergone some chemical treatments so that it will stay acid free).

Lignin free - If it is lignin free, that means that it has been made from something free of lignin, such as cotton, or has undergone some treatment to make it safe.

You may want to try using vellum paper. It has a nice grain. It is toothy, which means it has texture. This makes it easier for shading because the graphite has something to grab on to.

SHADING TOOLS

For shading and smudging I recommend that you use a drawing tortillon. I suggest using them because the oil on your hands can, in the long run, damage your drawing. What also works, and some artist use them all the time, is cotton swabs, or Q-tips. Occasionally I use Q-tips, but I still prefer the tortillon. Try both and see what works well for you.

FINISHING

If you are using a sketch book and would like to keep your work in good condition it is a good idea to purchase a clear spray to protect your work. It prevents the drawings from smudging.

Note: If you can, spray your drawing outside because it has very strong smell!

Purchased a drawing book? Do you have the right drawing supplies? Great! Then you are ready for my next article.

My next article called Drawing with a Purpose.

In this how to draw article I explain the importance of sharing your work with others. In the end of the article I will recommend some sites you may wish to join.

...because it is great to be drawing

Robot Drawing - How to Draw a Robot

Robots by their very nature are science fiction and this area appeals to many fans of the genre, and so it is quite right that we go through another drawing article on how to draw a futuristic robot from scratch, it is important to note that this article and the following link are only an idea of inspiration and one possible way to draw a robot as you own imagination will apply to your own robot creations.

Every drawing must have a framework and a robot is no different. However, unlike the human body you can draw a robot based off a human form or just something entirely futuristic with its own structure and shape, but in this tutorial we have the humanoid structure to work from, and so we start off with an oval shape for the head as usual and then all the joints such as the shoulders, the elbows, the wrists, the pelvis, the knees and the ankles are all roughly sketched in as round circles and then the biceps, the forearms, the thighs and the calves are all sketched in a sausage shaped.

The torso of the robot is like one large fat oval egg shape that doesn't have to be stressed over at this point, so long as it loosely connects to all the other robot parts such as the arms, legs and the head.

The above method is ideal for drawing robots, especially as you are marking in all the areas that you want to define, but it necessarily doesn't have to stay that way, not with it being a robot anyway, there is a tendency to try and draw too much detail right at the beginning, but this is advised against as the more you learn to draw from the start by planning your sketches then the better your drawings will be every time you draw.

The next step is to slowly change them sausages and circles into actual robot body parts that look like they would move and be essential working parts, to do this you can just sketch over the circle and cylinder shapes by using them as the original framework, let your imagination take over at this point, because you want to envision a futuristic robot with heavy metal plated armour, or something that resembles metal casing, we could also sketch in a gun on one of the robot arms just to see if it works.

Details are important in this third stage of robotic drawing development, and we can start to add more design features to our robot design, wires and other buttons can be added and a blank robot face makes the robot appear with no emotions. Cleaning the drawing up is a good idea too and inking over the pencil lines makes your drawing stand out.

Drawing robots is something that can be learnt like any other thing you can possibly learn to draw, so just enjoy using your imagination to create them.

How to draw a Caricature - important things to keep in mind in drawing cartoons

A caricature is a fun ing takethat can make a boring picture into a cartoon as attractive representation. What makes amazing cartoons is the manner in which they are distorted or drawn with exaggeration, but do not lose their identity.

Did anything the nose of a person to drawn too large for his face, you can always recognize the person being represented on the cartoon. It is, caricatures much more attractive than the usual portraits. He also attracting more fun.

If you are interested in learning how to draw a caricature, one thing you learn is to learn how the faces of the people draw in correct proportion. To do this by beginning with a photo and drawing it as it is.

Learn how to find the characteristics of a photo identification. Indeed, if you want to learn how to draw a cartoon, you have to learn to look at a face and that the characteristics of the face that you exaggerate. If your subject has a large nose, or a double chin or rounded eyes, and this is the first features of the face who "jump you" when you look at it, then you got the part that you exaggerate.

Some faces can be difficult for exaggeration, but with the constant practice, you can actually learn how to distinguish them easily. There are also different ways on how to draw the different characteristics of the face to make it look like a cartoon. You can learn how to draw the eyes, nose, Chin, hair, etc., the way is on cartoons. Black lines are often used in this process, and simple lines. There is perhaps a little shade but just a little.

If you are interested in learning the various elements on how to draw cartoons, it is important to obtain a detailed guide that will help you step by step process. A video tutorial can also be good however.

Now, if you have n drawyour photo by pencil or by bold black lines, you can then start ing drawseveral cartoons which exaggerates the different characteristics of the face. You can draw one has an exaggerated nose, and one with an exaggerated eyes or Chin - you can choose from caricatures which looks more like the photo you have, or what can still distinguish the person with the distortion or exaggeration.

Indeed, it is important to keep in mind that the most important cartoons is its probability of the object or the person that you drawing. Without risk, it may not be a cartoon. Another important element is the exaggeration of the ing draw. Of course, cartoons must be exaggerations or well, they are not caricatures. Apart from these cartoons also transmitted a message to the character being drawn.

Carolyn Anderson likes to draw, to draw and paint. If your interest is on how to draw a caricature, see fun with cartoons. See also draw cartoons with Chad, a tutorial to help learn how to draw cartoons quick and easy.

Drawing basics - a Guide to learn how to draw

If you are about to give draw aing for beginners lessons or just to start the journey of learning how draw yourself, you need to understand a thing. Learn how to draw will get difficult and frustrating sometimes, but in the same measure, it is also infinitely rewarding. Learn the trade on how drawing can be compared to learn to walk.
Being paid with the fundamental principles is a necessity. A tip to keep in mind when learning how to draw is to combine fun and creative activities with exercises that teach you useful techniques. In this way, you avoid feelings of boredom and monotony.
A most important to control when things learn how drawing is the way to hold a pencil. Forget what you said when you were young - it is a good way to hold a pencil, and the proper way for you which feels more comfortable. It is impossible to draw pleasantly if you are not relaxed. Drawing of Zombie - how to draw a Zombie face

INGdrawa zombie face is something that gets easier with practice, each new sketch you do is a learning process that improves with time and zombies are very popular to drawhere, that we will go through the steps you could follow to draw your own zombie faces and apply what you learn to create lots of different zombies.

To draw our head of zombies rotten, we must remind us of the kind, and some of them look at horror zombie films and then return, you will find that there are many different opportunities face Undead to allow you to drawing them, the best method is to draw an uneven oval shape of the head on a piece of A4 paper size, complete the entire sheet if you have to and don't worry the basic shape too as it will certainly change later in the ing draw.

Mark a line in the middle of the oval of the head and a line in the whole of the area of the nose, this way you can draw in the eyes, ears, nose (if applicable) and outline the draught of the mouth, if more later you can reduce the flesh to be rotten and perhaps show the teeth and the gum line that often looks quite cold on a zombiea bit of hair can be drawn in too if you do not want a dead-alive bald guy like your zombie character.

Now we have the basic principles, we need to work on these somewhat, the eyes become angry and almost not looking, with an eye ball initial support and detail surrounds most features the zombie seems totally putrefied, that teeth are drawn, such as the lips look like they are hanging off the coast, and hair have been drawn more dark, it is up to you how far you go with blood PRD and so on.

The next step is to ink the drawing if you prefer, just to review the pencil lines and complete all the dark areas with a solid black ink or cross hatching, usually under the eyes and set cheek bones, if you want to a part of the skull poke out.

Zombie face drawing is an excellent way to learn how to draw characters, so have fun.

Design of robot - how to draw a Robot

By their very nature, robots are science fiction and the region attracts many fans of the genre, and it's just that go us through another section of drawing on How to draw a futuristic robot zero, it is important to note that this article and the following link are just an idea of inspiration and a possible way to draw a robot you have imagination will apply to your own robot creations.

Each design must have a framework and a robot is no different. However, contrary to the human being, you can draw a robot based on a human form or just something quite futuristic with its own structure and shape, but dans this tutorial, we have the humanoid structure to work from, and we let off the coast, with an oval shape for the head as usual and then all jointssuch as shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees and ankles basin are all about drawn in round circles and then the biceps, forearms, thighs and calves are all drafted a sausage-shaped.

The torso of the robot is as a form of large fatty oval eggs which does not have to be highlighted more at this stage, as long as it links freely to all other parts of robot arms, legs and head.

The above method is ideal for design robots, especially when you are marking in all the areas you want to define, but it does not necessarily have to stay this way, step with which it is a robot in any event, there is a tendency to try to pull too much detail at the beginning, but it is discouraged as you learn to draw from the start by planning your sketchesand then the better your drawings will be every time you draw.

The next step is to slowly change sausages and circles in the parts of the body real robot-like that they move and be parties essential work, to do this, you can just sketches on the forms of circle and the cylinder using as the original framework, let your imagination to take at this stage, because you want to imagine a futuristic robot with heavy armour plated metal, or something that looks like metal enclosure, we also could sketch in a gun on one of the robotic arm just to see if it works.

Details are important in this third phase of the development of robotic design and we can begin to add design features more to our robot design, cables and other buttons can be added and a face empty robot makes the robot appear with no emotion. Clean design is a good idea too and inking pencil lines makes your design stand out.

Drawing of robots is something that can be learned as anything else, you may learn to draw, so just enjoy using your imagination to create.

Design Tip - how to draw memory

Are you worried that you do not know How to draw memory?

What is you struggle to pick up a pencil and draw something, anything, without an image to copy?

Don't worry, most of us have the same problem. Fortunately, there is a trick of simple drawing that you can implement to overcome this problem.

I thought that I would if I was put in the position to draw something on the spot. After some experiments, I discovered How to draw memory. It really is an easy solution.

All you have to do is to turn your topic of drawing of the most common forms.

As usual, I would like to start with a simple example. Let's say that you get asked How to draw a chick, here's what you do.

Using the mental image of this little fluffy bird, think of its construction as a small circle for the head and a wider circle for the body. Characteristics of light, draw two circles, overlapping each other. The drawing will be the side view, which is the easiest way to do so. That you prefer, the smallest circle for the head would sit on the top right or top left of the circle of body.

Small strokes to represent using the feathers or down, connect circles to create a form. If you want, you can delete the rows nested within or between the two original circles. Not to mention your image of a chick, build on the body to achieve the correct form.

Now add the wing by drawing a curve from the middle of the body just outside the circle. Join the upper part of the wing of the body with some thoughtful features.

Add Bill with a "v". Put this at halfway in the circle of the head.

Draw just in the eye of the top of the beak.

Add legs. Don't forget, it is on the side, you need only to draw a leg and show a few toes of either foot.

There you go, you have attracted just a small chick. It is a way How to draw memory.

See these examples of step by step How to draw a chick and pick up a few additional tips while you y.

Of course, learn to draw memory occurs. Observe some thing that interests you and five minutes later, try to make your impression of this object. If you do this exercise every day, you'll get a pleasant surprise at how easy you can do this.

If you copy an image, once you have finished, make a sketch memory of this object. Just as a musician has to play an instrument daily practice, your dedication should be the same.

How to draw a car - two tips for the best car design

Many people every day are trying to find the best way to learn how to draw a car. Then that is what is difficult about it, and how you can go on learning how draw a car properly and it gives a real appearance? I'll be provide you advice that I learned that you can apply to your sessions drawand hopefully create a car that looks like, it will immediately lead your paper! Sessions to drawmost of the cars I've seen show me that many people fail because they are missing some fundamental things when prepares to draw a car.

A primary example is people often lack patience. When someone asks me to review their ing drawand give them feedback, more often than not, it is patently obvious when they spent only about 30 minutes or so on an ing drawthat they tried to do so on their own.

INGdrawa car and realistic rendering is already quite difficult without having to make up every detail of the ing takeleave of your own mind. Instead of this, I have a suggestion. I found it incredibly useful to start ing drawfrom a reference image. Although it is possible to trace right on the reference image if you want, but this tactic will not help to improve your skills of ing drawingof car (or any other type of drawof the skills of ing) to all the. You need to do is to train your mind to see the lines and tones. And, you need to apply these lines and tones of your sessions drawas you make.

For some, it is easier said than done. It will require varying amounts of repetition to root this ability in your brain. But it can be done. The sooner you begin to practice and most regularly practice, the fully develop sooner you the competence and use it.

It is a colourful... or is it?

A hand trick that I use when I'm having a difficult time determining what my may have look like is color ditches and research to the model or reference in black and white image. When eliminate you all the colors of a photo of a car, this is a startling difference. All you're left with is just shades of black and white you need to recreate in your ing draw. Using this tactic makes it much easier to visualize what you draw on the paper to publish your car real and accurate. When you implement this method, carefully how the light is absorbed or reflected by surfaces of the car. It is metallic and shiny? Rubbery and dull? What makes the different car in a photo? How can you best represent with a pencil and paper?

Practice this technique and get competent at it you will allow not only to learn how to draw a really good car, but also to develop your ability to be able to attract almost everything you want. Many great artists have become great because they practiced and observed regularly. Nothing says that you cannot do the same thing.

The inclination of fate!

Something which distinguished among several artists in grass, I have worked with is the inclination of the head. I made this myself, as well. This does not appear as a large part of what that is a factor, but it really is. When you tilt your head, even if you do notice, you are offsetting effectively position your ing drawby changing the angles that your eyes display the ing draw. You will end place, not with a car that is level and well-proportioned, but rather with a car that tilts to the left or tilts to the right. To avoid this to happen, it is useful to suspend all minutes, take a step or two back, away from the table and watch your ing drawwith an angle fresh and prospects. It's amazing how much you can see when review you your ing drawfrom a different point of view.

When you make this assessment "different point of view", to ensure that all that is required to be horizontal is actually horizontal. You want to make sure that nothing is supported one way or the other, if it is not supposed to. If you are deemed to be your sessions drawbeing unrealistic and unpolished, and you want to learn more on how to draw a car the way professionals do, work advice above in your ing drawand you can't improve. You can also benefit from how to make make a cars fast and easy.

How to draw - drawing with a goal - 2

You want to learn how to draw, but need an object to the drawing? When I draw, I am of those who need to have a purpose. Drawing takes time. Although it is very pleasant for me, I always like to have a reason to pass the time. I need a kind of motivation.

Probably most of the people who benefit, if the could make a little money, would not issue motivated to draw more often. However, the purpose of this article is not of you to say how you can earn money from your drawings. I assume that you are not even close to this point yet. You are the person who is still learning or looking for a way in which you can get motivated to start drawing again. You are the person who wants to obtain more drawing before trying to sell your first design successful.

Before you even start looking to monetize you must develop your own style, technique, and the name. Must be quite some time before people want to do you something for them. So, here are some ways you can stay motivated.

The first way that I get motivated is by selecting a photo that I love and that you really want to draw. Find a good photo drawing may take some time, but it will be much more fun to draw. I tried a few photos of design for people who were not of high quality and which have never been happy with the result.

What is a good picture drawing? Well, I came to love photography and would eventually like to draw my own photos. Although I have an excellent camera, I am not always able, or have time to shoot the pictures I want. A good photo of drawing is that find you immediately, because the subject is in focus and the lighting is great.

Professional cameras are fun to play with because you can use a variety of lenses that allow you to obtain that some area in focus and all the rest will be blurred. In a future article I will explain why you tend to better than others, as these types of photos where everything is under discussion. Draw you what you see and don't have to worry about doing better than the picture drawing. This is why I love the drawing for photographers. I know that I am put to success rather than failure.

Perhaps that you don't think you're good enough, but at least work towards something drawing for someone else. It's how I began to draw. Most of my design were for someone else. They were not anywhere near perfect then and still are not always the way I want to watch today. There is always something that will just not result right.

Share your work. See what the people think. Tell people what you are doing and share your passion. Accept criticism and learn from him. I use the criticism I get on my designs to improve my technique and style. Others are often better highlighting errors or the ways in which I can improve because they did not work with the drawing.

Alright, let's start...

Activity 1 - Join a group of artists

If you have not already joined a group of artists drawing, I suggest do so you. You can learn from others and help and be helped.

Here are five places, you can display your artwork

Drawspace.com

Artpapa.com

GFXartist.com

ratemydrawings.com

Activity 2 - find a Photo for the drawing

Find a good photo. We hope that you will find a good photo to draw that you yourself have made. Internet may have many good photos of drawing on it, but most of them will be author. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THEM ON YOUR COMPUTER. Especially if you want to display your designs on the web, make sure that you have written permission from the photographer. Make sure that you make it clear to him that you are going to do with the image. Do not assume anything. If you are given permission, do not sell the design to someone else.

Find a good photo? Joined at least a group of drawing? Great! Now that you're ready for the next article, which is called how to draw - Drawing Techniques (3). In this article, we will explore different techniques which use artists. Try them out on the photo you have or choose.
