How to draw a grid

Learn to draw using a grid is almost like using a shortcut.

It is things like grids that make possible design for people who despair that they will be ever able to take. This process breaks right drawings to the baby steps.

I recommend that you use a grid as an aid only. I would not encourage you to depend on all the time.

Puzzles to break an image into pieces of manageable size. You only need to focus on one box at a time, and before you know it, you have a great design look at you in the face!

Here's what you need to do:-.

1 Find a good clear image that you want to copy.

2 Make a copy of this image, if you do not want to damage your original.

3. On your copy, mark four edges of the image to a half inch intervals. Use a black fine point marker. Beginners should start with the small square, as a quarter of an inch. Take care of your actions, it can have a negative on your drawings effect if you make a mistake.

4 Connect all brands of lateral and top to bottom to create your grid.

5. Now draw a grid on your blank paper the same exact measures. Draw these very light lines, pencil. You will be delete these when you are finished.

6 Select a square to begin copying. I'm right-handed, if I start always upper-left square. In this way, I smudge my drawing.

A good another shortcut is to photocopy a grid on a transparency. This will save you the time that needed to draw a grid on your image. It also reduces the possibility of errors with the measures. In addition, you do not lose time to obtain a copy of the original image. Many good positive reasons for transparency it y!

I use blu-tack to paste my transparency on my photo to remain stable.

You can make this process easier if you start with grids with the exact dimensions of same. It is the grid you copy and grid you copy, should be the same size. As you become more confident with the process, you can keep increasing the size of the grid to that you need more guidelines at all.

If you draw a grid on your image half-inch measures and then draw a grid with measurements of an inch on your blank paper, you will end up with a larger than the original design. This also in the works on the other hand, if you draw a more grid on your original and a small grid on your blank paper, you get a smaller design.

Welcome to the world of drawing!
