How to draw a Platypus.

Platypus is a semi aquatic, the monotremes (mammals laying eggs), shy nocturnal animal found throughout Australia and dans parts of Tasmania. This strange animal has a face of duck-billed, a beaver as a tail, feet as the Otter and the spur venom in its paws. It lives in burrows, which it digs with its sharp claws on the banks of rivers or lakes. Generally, it swims to find its food which includes worms, insects, snails and small fish.

INGdrawa Platypus is simple. Go a few steps on how to draw a Platypus:

Necessary things
1. Drawing sheet
2 Ing drawand pencil shading
3 Eraser
4 Paints and brushes

Basic framework: draw an oval broad, flat and horizontal. To the right, draw a small circle. You can rub these off when you are finished.

Responsible: draw two eyes in the upper part of the small circle. Overview of their property, as a Platypus has well defined eye.

BEC: Just below the outer surface of the circle, draw a mouth similar to Duckbill, one, but only more flat and large. Shade as well as the mouth is much darker from the rest of the body. Add two small holes in the lower middle of the beak of the nostrils.

Body: draw a sloping line to the top of the circle to the upper edge of the oval (definition of the neck) and follow down along the oval to form the spine.

Members: The horizontal base of the oval at both ends, extend both forelimbs and both hind, proportionally separated. Draw two parallel lines for each branch. You can then round the edges to provide folds and bends. At the end of these branches stretch long, elegant, conical phalanges five, with pointed tips to the legs. Termination of phalanges have separate, defined, claws long well structured. The legs of the Platypus are webbed.

Final format: join the base of the front and rear legs with a curve of breast shape, stomach and size.

Fur trade: To make your Platypus appear more realistic, add fur thick and brilliant.

Tail: On the spine, sketch the paddle shaped thick, furry tail.

Color: If you want to color your Platypus, use dark brown or dark brown on the dorsal surface. A shade of beige goes well for seems somewhat ventral.

Tip: To designate a photo for best results.
