These really help. If your final image has some slight proportion errors, such as an eye being even a cm too wide, it can really ruin the final effect. You will end up with something... say unrealistic.
Make 1 "by 1" squares, ing drawtheir light with an HB pencil, over your paper to drawing. They will be of course deleted once the image is made.
Draw your shapes

It really helps by shading from left to right, from top to bottom (unlike if you are left handed), so you accidentally smudge shading that you already have.
